B. Alan Echtenkamp, Ph.D.

Founder and Organizational Psychologist

Alan is an organizational psychologist and founder of Slingshot Leadership. He has 25 years of experience helping leaders create high performing teams that drive growth and profitability. He has worked with senior executives across multiple industries in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Prior to launching Slingshot Leadership, Alan was the head of global talent management for Time Warner Inc. In this role, he was responsible for leading succession and development strategies for senior business and creative executives across all Time Warner businesses. Prior to Time Warner, Alan worked in consulting firms Mercer HR Consulting and Sibson Consulting and was responsible for the full scope of client engagement including business development, organization diagnosis, solution design and execution, and client service team management.

Alan currently teaches at Columbia University in New York and has published articles and book chapters in both scholarly and mainstream press. His most recent co-authored book chapter, entitled "Humor and Organizational Networks: Functions and Dysfunctions", appears in "The Psychology of Humor at Work" (Routledge, 2018).

Alan serves on the board of The Brotherhood/Sister Sol; a not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive, holistic and long-term support services to youth who range in age from eight to twenty-two. He earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University and his B.A. from Purdue University.

Deanna Siegel Senior, Ph.D.

Deanna Siegel Senior is a certified executive coach and accomplished Head of Talent. In her executive coaching practice, she specializes in executive transitions and focuses on how the most effective leaders inspire their teams through authentic leadership and radical candor. She also helps teams to navigate their collective impact through self-reflection and effective team climate.

Morgan Olsen

Morgan spent 8 years as General Manager for the AIP Group, where she guided the success and growth of the business while developing and sustaining partnerships with clients. She is also active in the social impact space. Working with social ventures to increase their impact and sustainability, from building capacity through creating train the trainer programs for Resonate Workshops in East Africa to improving the recruiting and vetting of the Fellows Program at Kiva.org.

Jim Kochanski

Jim founded the Corte Group after 20 years as a partner and national practice leader in a large multinational consulting firm. Jim was an early practitioner in the creation of high performing organizations and teams within several Fortune 500 companies before going into consulting. Jim has completed hundreds of successful projects with leading organizations in energy, technology, health, and education. He uses a diagnostic approach to tailor organizational solutions to fit each client’s needs and ability to execute.
